Biography

Studio 2021

"I am a painter and printmaker originally from the North of England. I make images which resonate both with the urban landscape around me and my internal emotional landscape. The drawings and paintings are collaged and built from many layers over a long period of time."

Lucy studied first for a Foundation in Art & Design at Harrogate Art College, followed by a degree in Graphic Design (BA hons) at the London college of Printing (UAL). After an MA in Fine Art Printmaking at Manchester Metropolitan University she was awarded a Printmaking Fellowship at Cheltenham & Gloucester College (1995/96).
